Neuromancer, Settlers doesn't require the arm7 fix. The problem is that the save corrupts "after playing other apps" because of save compression. Well, there are reports saying that under 1.1.2. there is no save corruption "after playing other apps". But for me (still old 1.0.2) and a friend (latest 1.1.2) the save corrupts "after playing" i.e. Pokemon Diamond. Save corruption due to save compression ("after playing other apps") also happens to Pokemon Ranger under 1.0.2 and 1.1.2.

Anyway, the problem will be there until DS-X team completely fix the EEPROM engine or allow the user to disable the save compression (yes, I have doubts about those "no problems" reports about Settlers)
