This is it:

Does anyone know if this will work for Wii U with nintendont? I don't mind having to buy a bluetooth adapter to make it work either.

The topic title is supposed to say Wii U. Not Wii.
From the Nintendont thread, "If your bluetooth controller (wiimote, Classic, Classic Pro, Wii U Pro) is not an official controller then it may have issues (this is the most common problem for users using bluetooth controllers with Nintendont)."

So probably not.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has tried this combination? Would love to see these nice controllers work with Wii!

Bumping for an answer, the controller is on sale
Switch Pro Controllers work like normal bluetooth HID controllers which seems to be what this is emulating. Those seem to not be supported at all by Nintendont. So you would need something like a MAGIC-NS ( https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...wirelessly-on-nintendont.540706/#post-8676288 )
Anyway, it will never work with Wii games, so it's probably better to buy a controller that emulates a Wiimote + Classic Controller if you don't intend to use it with an actual Switch, as that would work with Wii games as well.
