Hacking Does the DSTWO use up DS's battery when plugged in?

Finally received my DSTWO this morning, so far having fun with the GBA and SNES emulation

Still prefer my CycloDS for DS gamng for its elegance, but for everything else, DSTWO's good

However, I'm asking if the DSTWO use up the battery even if it's off. Also, since I'm here anyway, which games work well with the GBA ans SNES emulators? So far I've tested Mother 3, SRW: J, and Bahamut Lagoon, and they seem to work well despite some frame-rate hiccups.

Also, can you guys recommend any MAME games? I've never used MAME in any of its iterations, and the DSTWO has given me a convenient excuse to partake in some arcade goodness

the arcade games almost never age well, it's more of a nostalgia thing

I thought it was a fair question, seeing as the 3in1 supposedly sucked battery life out of the DS...

So I should just scrap the arcade games idea then?
