Hacking Does the acekard have any plugins?

Okay so I wanted to know if it had any plugins and if possible could you put a lameboy plugin and other emulators in it?

I'm sure Bliss did a few plugins, the text and mp3 variety.

So there isn't plugins that work with akaio but is there some that work with maio (a.k.a. moonshell that lets you run roms for akaio)?

That should work.
There is only one plugin thats working with akaio, thats the wifi plug that comes with akaio

This is correct.

As of 1.5, AKAIO doesn't support plugins. I don't remember why Normmatt removed it, but I know that it was removed for a reason.

Also, MAIO supports any plugin that works with Moonshell2.

As far as I know Acekard official firmware doesn't support plugins and AKAIO no longer supports plugins.
MAIO, which is "just" Moonshell for AceKard, uses Moonshell Plugins... which has nothing to do with AceKard, AKAIO or any other flashcart/firmware, so you might want to look in the Homebrew section for them. But there are relatively few Moonshell plugins, if any, that aren't included in MAIO.
