you could buy like three hundred blank ntag215's for that price, probably a better investment, considering there are only like 150 amiibo $50 on blank ntag's is all you'd need for now

Title says it all i am about to buy it and want to make sure its compatable
Yes, but buying blank NTAG215 tags is cheaper. They're not reusable (you can't change the Amiibo on them once written) but you can get 100 of them for like $35 which should last you a long time and they have the benefit of not using a cumbersome one button system to switch between Amiibos.

Plus if you don't need to reuse the same amiibo multiple times in games with cool down, you can make the cards you need and then create extras to "give" to friends.

That too. I've already given away a few Amiibos. The entire bag of NTAG215s is about the size of a N2 Elite, and flashing them with an Android phone when you want another Amiibo is dead simple compared to having to load it on the N2 Elite and scroll through the Amiibos loaded onto it until you find the right one (or worse, having all 200 slots loaded up with every Amiibo ever and then having to scroll through all 200...)

I'd have to agree. The N2 is pretty cumbersome to use, I end up just using it to mine Zelda chests. I ended up buying a set of premade cards; looks much better.
