Hacking Does DSi-Mode with iEvolution work on western 3DS consoles?

According to Team Cyclops, the iEvolution works on japanese 3DS systems, but only in DS mode due to the lack of a japanese bootstrap. Since there are european and american bootstraps, does DSi-Mode work on european and american 3DS consoles?

It should. I have yet to see anyone test it out, though. I'll be testing it out when I get the 3DS.
