divineo is not fake. however that r4ds that it is selling seems to be a fake.

ok im going to get iTouch but how do i put moonshell on it?......i dont care about homebrew and all that other stuff all i want from this flashcart is to be able to play DS games, watch movies, and play mp3s which is why i was leaning towards r4 because its very easy to do on it, but now knowing about its issues im going the iTouch route since it seems to be a good alternative

Well if you want to just play games, music and movies then sakura is the firmware for you since you dont need moonshell for multimedia. But itouch is also good. to install moonshell you need to download it and put the moonshell folder and moonshell.nds into your mem card (i think, since i used to use r4 and moonshell is built in and now i currently have m3).

i dont think theres a fake itouch or clone itouch

Yes you can on sakura. Just make a folder (name of your choice) and put your mp3s or movie file and nds files. Choose it and run it, thats it. No need to run moonshell.

Btw i know you are looking for a cheap flashcart and i see that your planning to get itouch and atm tripleboot dont work with itouch. I only mentioned sakura because it plays music without moonshell and it helped stop you asking on how to install moonshell.

Except that the R4 doesn't get patches at all, and the users have to patch it themselves, in order for it to work.

Nowadays, its very hard to find a real R4. There are so many fakes, because the R4 team said that they've stopped making R4s now.

ItouchDS doesn't have any fakes, or clones, because they're relatively new. Still, I hear it's pretty good.

ive decided to go with the itouch, all this searching for flashcarts is stressing me out im going to settle on the itouch,and if i have any problems ill report back here and annoy you guys more

bastards at divineo are giving me problems for trying to cancel the order on the R4..........we have established that the iTouch is real, but noone knows if the r4 is real? It says the site wont sell any more R4s after they run out of the current shipment so maybe it is real?
