Hacking does booting atmosphere burn fuses?

does booting atmosphere burn fuses? it might sound like a noob question but couldnt find an answer. despite tutorials

i just got my payloader and i am ready dig in,

my switch is on 4.01 and i had it for more than a year.

i am about to use atmosphere to use nsp files but i have a some concerns

with sx, you can burn fuses, can you too with atmosphere?

do i have to update the firmware of my switch with choidujour to be able to play the latest nsp files?
if so is there a risk of burning fuse, it is very unclear in tutorial.

finally if i update with choixdujour then turn off completly my switch (hold power button fro 10sec) then turn on again the switch will it launch atmosphere automatically? if not will it burn fuses?

Atmosphere and SX OS will not burn e-fuses. This question should be asked in the noob paradise thread.

what if i update with (choidujour not official update) then load official firmware cause i always turn off completely my switch

Well it is alright for people to create a thread if they have questions, the noob paradise it is one option, not mandatory.

AutoRCM is what prevent fuse burn and it is activated by default with ChoixduJour.
Whenever you are booting your Switch (OFW or CFW), doing it with AutoRCM & a payload will not burn fuses.
If you deactivate AutoRCM (and don't enter RCM with a Jig before booting) your fuses will get burnt by the Official bootloader.
