Tony Hawk Downhill Jam? I am thinking of getting this game and I was wondering if its worth it, considering I want to make use of the online component of it. I know it's almost a year old but how good is this game and what's the replay value? Are there still lots of people playing this game online?

Its a nice game.
It's definately better than the first Tony Hawk on the DS.
Both were fun games though.

Pick up? Why don't you try both of them out and buy which ever one you like better?

I must say the first one is "better".
depends on the mood... If i want a tony hawk-ish game.. I'd go for sk8 land...
but if not: downhill... it has better music too! (Lagwagon ftw!)

I mean... downhill is more like a racing game... sort of... But it's great!
and as I tried to say above: IF you want a pure tony hawk game, the first is better.. and if you just want a skateboarding game, i'd go for downhill jam....

I don't know if the online will be very popular anymore.
Of course, there is always someone on and your friends.

Theres a new Tony Hawk coming out. Why don't you wait for it?
(Comes out sometimes next week or so)

I played it twice.

Once on single player and then a month later I tried online. It was OK.

Personally, down hill jam felt like a quality made spin-off. So like people said, it's more of a racing game. No free skate for you:/
In other words, I was hoping for a proper sequel instead. Never tried it out online.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
Veho @ Veho: That's a relief to hear. Do you know what happened?
