Create a new dol using ModMii Classic's Advanced download page, then inject it into the outdated wad using customize Mii (from ModMii's download page 2)
Or if u were asking about old apps being able to return to the newer homebrew channel, u can install a hbc forwarder under the old ID. Of course u would need to enable priiloader hacks to prevent newer system menu's from deleting it
