It's an "Arm11" error, yes, it's very common. Now the important question is where & when it occurs, does it appear in the start of a game? When you first power the 3ds? Or randomly in the home menu or in-game etc.? Give more details if you want people to help you.

Other DS games work fine? You're using TWilightmenu to launch the game and not a forwarder? Try with another rom if the former, or make another forwarder if that's what you're using.

Maybe. Other games work fine both DS & 3DS?
Did you do the test with the sd empty? If not (and if the issue persists), back up your data somewhere safe in your pc, empty it then run h2testw with the "read and verify" setting.

just tested some mario kart ds no issue
as a forwarder it freezes (sometimes)
loaded from twl menu freezes too but white screen on both touch and top screen

If you used the same rom to make the forwarder, if it's corrupt in some way the forwarder title would give you issues too. Unless it's an sd card issue, then you should've tested the sd card with h2testw to make sure of that.
