Due to the very real advantage of perspective, I can say with experience, that age is not as relevant AFTER 21.
Prior to 21, you are not fully mentally programmed. No that is not a slur or put down, it's true, you are simply not finished becoming who you will get to be for the rest of your life. You'll see this soon enough if you are still 19 or younger.
Don't make any firm decisions till after 21. Trust me on this. Love whomever you wish till you are 21, but do NOT make any choices you can't walk away from.
You will find, you can be 21 and love a 41 year old, but you will NOT likely get far being 13 and loving a 31 year old. And it's not just about laws. By 21 you have likely experienced about everything there is to experience, just make sure you do it on an equal playing field eh.
