Hello, everyone! I've been lurking this forum accountless for at least a decade, and I just recently made one -- so please be kind to me lol.
But way back in like 2022, my CFW 2DS XL had a RAM failure. I poked around for help in the Homebrew Discord, and the conclusion of the helpers was that there was no saving my 2DS, and all my stuff was basically gone. I eventually got a CFW New 3DS XL (Galaxy-style, woo!), and I was able to even put my NNID onto my New 3DS.

The problem is...I didn't fully think things through...

All of my 3DS data -- Activity Log, Friends, other data -- is all gone. Because of this, all the data doesn't appear for stuff like Nintendo Music, which reads all that old data. I tried repairing my 2DS myself, got a new motherboard too, but even with multiple guides, my klutzy hands just made things worse. Does anyone here know if there's a way to sync my games to my account again? Or even better, if I could reconnect my old data to my current console? Or even better...is there a master of soldering and that I could get in contact with?

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you for reading my lament and any help in advance!

How exactly did you do that? Did you contact Nintendo customer support?

While that data is apparently shared with Nintendo, if I'm not gravely mistaken all the communication is one-way.

That data would have been stored on the motherboard, and apparently you got rid of the old motherboard.

Back in the day there used to be hardmods for dumping a NAND from a motherboard, but I'm not sure you could do that if it had a "RAM failure" (whatever is is you mean by that).

I did contact Ninty, and they unbinded my account from my old 3DS. I do still have my old motherboard though and it is somewhere safe. As for the RAM failure, this is what I was told in the Homebrew Discord by multiple people, and after running a file to test the console, multiple people said it was beyond saving. I prompted them to try to look into the issue to cross-reference others who were having issues, but I was met with slight rudeness.
