Yes. I wear a Garmin Forerunner 255, wear it pretty much 24/7, off only for shower/bath and charging.
It's amusing that you mention it as "doing the math", it's just something that's second nature to me lol. It's not like I need to think 15 - 12 = 3pm, I just know what 15:00 is off bat.Yes in USA we never use the 24hr format. I believe only our military uses it still. AM/PM is easier than doing the math. You know, us lazy Americans. On subject tho, I used to wear watches but being in construction (Electrician), I would always break, or lose them, so I haven't worn a watch in years. I used to wear necklaces also, till one day getting shocked and it left a burn mark on my neck where my gold necklace was, so stopped wearing all jewelry.
You’re supposed to wash them sometimes. I have a Mudmaster I use for outdoor activities and I just toss it in the washing machine after an expedition.Watches tend to collect sweat and dust, which makes my life unpleasant when I am working, so I don’t wear a watch. Plus, I just find them generally uncomfortable
Gatekeeping watches, that's a new one.I feel naked without my watch whenever I go out. I use the legendary Casio f-91w (and no, smart "watches" don't count, they're just downsized smartphones that can also tell time, but so can my fridge, gas oven and smart toaster, slapping clock on things don't make them watches)
EDIT : whole point of watch (imo) is to be mindful of time, and with smart watches that not exactly the case : seeing how many steps you took, fact if you have missed call or new message and other things are distracting. not to mention having to charge it at least weekly, while traditional watches last years on single cell battery.
Someone has to watch the watchmenGatekeeping watches, that's a new one.
