Do you think spell check makes your spelling become worse?

Does it make my spelling worse? I would say no as I still tend to rewrite sentences to work around a word I do not know how to spell (which usually ends up with me being far more verbose than it is wise to be).

As far as accurately typing then it is a different game and since I figured out right click rather than the full on spell checker it has become worse. This has a nasty knockon effect for coding and messing around on the command line (I could then go on again about having the last however many commands being stored and autocomplete).

Spell check HELPS me learn how to Spell, cause then i know im doing it wrong, so then i see how to spell it

Too bad it doesn't help with grammar.

I never typed things correctly till I got firefox... well, not exactly firefox, but a hybrid browser, though it's got spell check. So I think it's forced me to spell things correctly.
