Hardware Do you cool your Switch?

So I found some treads about bending Switch units. I have not seen 1 bended Switch in real life, but I was wondering: Do you cool your Switch? And for what reason?
Personally I do not cool my Switch. But with upcoming hardware requiring games like Doom and Skyrim it might be something to think about?

Sometimes my switch got to hot if I let it lay on a pillow(d'oh) otherwise my switch is fu cool.

There should a be another option like "No: but it's definitely hot when I go from tv to portable mode"
I voted the first one because I don't cool it. but it's really not cold ^^

anyone else here have a cat, you know we will be having to replace that fan at some point right?
i vaccum like 5 times a day but i know it is still going to get ruined
probably you will be replacing fans even with no cat too though
hopefully it is better than sony products , their fans fail the second you take them out of the box

i honestly do not have a good feeling about tis console and it's cooling system
my laptop fan got loud as shit but has not failed, however my ultrabook fan has been replaced 3 times already , it seems like these smaller type fans are just shit and prone to failure
i really wish this thing did not have active cooling at all ,i know it is going to create problems in the future

maybe someday they will release a revision that has no fan

i got my switch just a week ago, it's always cool in portable mode, but it eventually get heat up in tv mode, i need further deeper and longer game session to test it.

It's nearly impossible to overheat the Switch without disconnecting the fan. No need to cool it..



tl;dw - The guy stresses the Switch out by covering it in towels and t-shirts to trap heat and block air intakes and it still didn't overheat while playing Fast RMX. The only way he got it to overheat and shutdown is to disconnect the fan and playing Fast RMX

I hated how hot my Switch got, so I bought two of these smaller dock enclosures in green and blue for my girlfriend and I. Makes a world of difference playing docked.

Never noticed it getting hot although I never play on docked, always handheld. Can get a bit warm, but nothing uncomfortable
