YES if it interest me.

I have the rare PokePark DS for the Original Nintendo DS and a God of War Red PSP. I got a Red special Nokia E90. As long as it's rare, I'll buy it and if it interest me. Waiting for limited edition Nintendo DSi like Pokemon for the US region.

AS LONG AS IT INTEREST ME, I'LL BUY IT and if it's worth my time

I usually don't, but sometimes I do. It depends on the price tag, what's included, and how big of a fan I am of that game/franchise.

The only special edition I have bought was Fable 2. Honestly, I was rather disappointed in the content of the so-called "special edition" of this game. The game, on the other hand, was awesome!

Depends on what it comes with. Stupid gimmicky stuff, no. But with the likes of the wind waker where you get worthwhile stuff, I do.

the only limited edition i bought was The Legend of Zelda Windwaker it was the same price and it came with ocarina of time master quest and regular ocarina of time

Same here. One of the best extras, ever.

Generally I dont. Although I have pre-ordered the Spirit Tracks tin.

Well if its something like this....
02_-_ghosts-limited-edition.jpg

Then yes.
I mean, this is like the best Collectors edition EVER.
Just look what it comes with it!

-2 CDs
-a DVD-ROM of multitrack files
-A Blu-ray Disc of the album featuring a 96khz/24bit digital mix of the album.
-A hardcover 48-page booklet with the artwork of the album in a black fabric slipcase
-A 4-part 180 gram vinyl edition of the album.

I mean, If there was a Collectors edition like that i would totally say Yes.

That sure sure is a nice package... but some info's missing:
the 4 discs are in a hard cover book.
the 48-page booklet is in another hard cover book.
there's a third hard cover book with photos!
it's autographed and numbered (2500 p)

The downside: $300 (and sold out)

Only if they come with something I want like an OST and I really like the music, and it's not too much more than the regular. The packaging has to be nice too, you know.

Maybe one day. I have a special edition controller for 360 that game with ODST if that counts ^^.

I will seriously, buy a Limited Edition FF DS Lite. So expensive though... And the case mod isn't very... Accurate xD

I have not bought a game that had a limited edition or collectors edition version, unless you count that Legend of Zelda Gamecube disc that my sister got with her Gamecube.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
