I know updating burns fuses but not running without autorcmIf you update, then run without autorcm, then yes I think it will burn fuses.

If you run OFW anytime after updating the system, you will burn fuses. You must load the system using Hekate or another custom bootloader in order to prevent fuses from being burnt. This is why AutoRCM is required if you don't want to burn fuses after updating the system.I know updating burns fuses but not running without autorcm
Do you mean every time I run OFW fuses burn or only the first time?If you run OFW anytime after updating the system, you will burn fuses. It will only burn the amount that that firmware uses, but let's say you update to the next firmware, one more fuse will burn to match that firmware.Do you mean every time I run OFW fuses burn or only the first time?
Everytime you run OFW without a bootloader like Hekate, your operating system will try to make the number of fuses match what it thinks they should be.Do you mean every time I run OFW fuses burn or only the first time?

For example, if you only have six fuses burnt and update to 7.0.0 without burning fuses using choixdujournx, you will still only have six burnt fuses. If you boot your system normally without using RCM and Hekate, however, then you system will burn enough fuses to bring you to nine burnt fuses, since 7.0.0 wants and expects nine burnt fuses.
The only way to be sure you don't burn any fuses is by installing AutoRCM. This prevents your system from ever starting up without Hekate.
