I'm not assuming they're illiterate or that they have learning disabilities, only that they don't do all of the reading and searching necessary to successfully mod their systems. I've had my share of bricks but I made sure I was prepared to correct them before attempting a mod. Not once did I every think to myself, "Hmmm...this mod is not working as I thought it would...maybe I'll just go ahead and delete everything on my system and see if that helps." I, just like many others, read these forums for months before finally feeling I was ready to modify and possible destroy my $250 investment.
