It's going to be a pain in the ass to do that anyway. Use a single wire for now, and in the future there will be more permanent solutions via SOFTWARE that you likely will only have to use the wire successfully ONCE. I don't understand why people want a 3D printed jig, let alone pay for one, when all you need is a wire! Or a paperclip if you have patience! I don't get why people are taking apart their Joy-Cons. It's crazy.
it all started with one tutorial out there where some guy has the joycon dissassembled and some stuff about bending them together and shizz

We need a PSA regarding that - and also a way to stop people from monetizing on these exploits. That's why I made my wire video and posted it to Vimeo instead of Youtube. Don't open your Joy-Cons, and don't bother buying 3D printed jigs. This scene is moving very quickly and vultures are moving in to make a quick buck.

I don't understand the point of bending pins when it's possible to just purchase a jig for a few dollars or to just use a spare wire to short out the pin instead of modifying a joycon.

actually connected to Pin 10 (the rearmost pin) on the right hand side Joy-Con connector. You can just use a simple piece of wire to bridge it to e.g. a screw on the rail (easiest), or pins 10 and 7 (or 1) together (10 and 9 won’t work)

I believe pin 9 and 10 work with F-G, pins 1 or 7 and pin 10 work with ShofEL2. I could be wrong but I've seen people successful with both exploits it just depends on the one you're using.

But I could be wrong, I haven't had time to test anything released yet. This is based on what I've seen from other people using the exploit(s).

to a ground, like this?

From what I read, the pins you short differ if its the Switch or Joy-Con. The Joy-Con uses 9 and 10 since that was first showcased with Fusee Gelee while the Switch uses 1,2, or 7 and 10 which was demoed with F0F's exploit. Although, I may be wrong as there does not seem to be a consensus on this from any development team.
