if I do, How do I get it????
wouldn't you be dumping at the same time as you'd be dumping your romfs?
Always use all files from roms.
Well for Rutile Ruby I used the code included with the rom hack package
It's not necessary. I have been playing Neo X with only the ROMFS.
I booted it and I got a black screen... I placed the romfs file in sd/Hans

where do I need to place the romfs file???? I keep getting blackscreens...
Are you sure your ROMFS is complete? It should weight about 1.52GB and have the header stripped.
its 149,684 kilobytes and hanshelper removed the header for me...
I see your problem. You need to dump your Pokemon X using braindump, and merge the Neo Y ROMFS with your game ROMFS.
its pokemon Y... and thank you.. :3
Oh yeah, I confused because I have X.
I recommend you use these tools for the ROMFS building
I need to rip it using braindump but, is there an update that it won't take 4+ hours to dump???
Posting an already dumped ROM would be piracy, sorry. Also, try to get a class 10 SD. It dumps much faster.
Is it possible to get an already dumped rom and put it on your SD card without kernel access? Like on 10.1?
he said posting a rom not getting a rom...
I have class 10 MicroSD card and class 4 SD card but the dump speed is not so difference between both SD card.
this is just my experience.
Nope. On the Pokémon games, the code.bin contains certain information such as marts, move tutors, and others. Neo XY doesn't modify any of these things, so the author didn't modify the code.bin file.
On the other hand, for Rutile Ruby / Star Sapphire, the author did modify the code.bin file, so it needs to be loaded in addition to the RomFS.
Then you are playing without some changes the romhack has applied (such as Cut changed to Grass, which is how you confirm that)
Not true at all. For one there's nothing in the folder for exefs besides banner.bin and icon.bin - not code.bin. Those aren't important because the game isn't being launched from home menu.
I verified this was changed (don't have Cut to verify that but it doesn't matter)
No, because Neo X doesn't have code.bin modifications in the first place.
