Homebrew do I need a .code file to run pkmn neo Y???

I booted it and I got a black screen... I placed the romfs file in sd/Hans

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

where do I need to place the romfs file???? I keep getting blackscreens...

I see your problem. You need to dump your Pokemon X using braindump, and merge the Neo Y ROMFS with your game ROMFS.

Posting an already dumped ROM would be piracy, sorry. Also, try to get a class 10 SD. It dumps much faster.
I have class 10 MicroSD card and class 4 SD card but the dump speed is not so difference between both SD card.

this is just my experience.

if I do, How do I get it????

Nope. On the Pokémon games, the code.bin contains certain information such as marts, move tutors, and others. Neo XY doesn't modify any of these things, so the author didn't modify the code.bin file.

On the other hand, for Rutile Ruby / Star Sapphire, the author did modify the code.bin file, so it needs to be loaded in addition to the RomFS.

Then you are playing without some changes the romhack has applied (such as Cut changed to Grass, which is how you confirm that)

Not true at all. For one there's nothing in the folder for exefs besides banner.bin and icon.bin - not code.bin. Those aren't important because the game isn't being launched from home menu.

- Disarming Voice was renamed to “Lunar Pound”, is now Physical and has a Base Power of 55.

I verified this was changed (don't have Cut to verify that but it doesn't matter)
