Gaming do dsi games brick the 3ds if installed via .cia?

i wanted to install some dsi shovelware for the lols, as i was looking for downloads i came across a post here from a guy who wanted the dsi camera, and somebody told him it could brick, does that happen to all dsi software installed through .cia, or only default apps?

Whoever told you that was talking shit. Installing dsi cias including the dsi camera will not brick the 3ds

• Recover DS mode after an NVRAM "brick" (eg after using a DS Bricker)

Basically, don't install questionable DSiWare CIAs. You can softbrick DS(i) mode related stuff that way.

Basically, don't install questionable DSiWare CIAs. You can softbrick DS(i) mode related stuff that way.
