ditching sxos for atmosphere having issues

I have a switch that has had SXOS on it since pretty much the day i got it. I was running an Emunand on 11.0.0 and have never touched the sysnand which remains on 4.0.1. i formatted the sdcard and followed the rentry instructions. the atmosphere logo flashes on the screen but then all i get is a black screen. Ive tried two different sd cards and multiple attempts at following the guide. ive tried a partition emunand and a file based one. any advice here would be great, my kids are going to kill me soon.

Yes fat32 as well as the fusee.bin found on the atmosphere download page and placed in the correct subfolders

Like I said I’m trying to boot it for the first time via emunand dumped from the original sysnand and it’s not working. I’ve been in sxos so long I have no clue how to even update the firmware without touching the sysnand.

Well if it doesn't boot on 4.0.1 then it won't boot on 4.0.1 emunand.

Place your SD card back into your switch, power it on, and launch into Hekate.

Skip this part if you only use CFW on SysNAND
Select emuMMC in the main menu, then select Migrate emuMMC and finally select emunand.
Once it's done, select Close.

im using sx pro dongle with a boot.dat file which works with hekate and atmosphere.

this is modified version CTCaer script
instead of compiling everytime when new hekate arrives, you just copy new hekate to root of sd card and change name to payload.bin (or to every other name which can be set in ini file).
i think he is using sx os stuff to inject the payload, thats why he have a problems
