DISSIDIA: Final Fantasy
Multiplayer Online Guide

Well, I wrote an entire guide out that I feel explained nicely how to do everything it takes to play DISSIDIA online against people.

However, near the end, my PC rebooted itself and thus, all that work is gone.

I'll redo it later.

For now, here are some guides on how to play DISSIDIA against your fellow GBATempers.

What you need:
DISSIDIA
PS3 with wired connection to the internet.
The adhoc Party program from the Playstation Store downloaded to your PS3.

Adhoc Party explaination: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adhoc_Party_f...tation_Portable
Adhoc Party video tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnGoIgZwavs

Tutorials on how to create a Japanese PSN account in order to download Adhoc Party from the Japanese PSN store.

Tip:
Once you get to a point where you can choose a game lobby, a common lobby for DISSIDIA games is Lobby D or Lobby F.

I'll come back to this and make it all snazzy again later.

You can also use Xlink rather having to buy a 400-600 dollar equipment to play the game online. Although the activity might be lighter than on PSN.

Yes, I hear Xkai is really bad with lag.

However, that was/will also be in the tutorial.

I'm going to buy a Ps3 so I can play Dissidia online.

Jokes aside, nice quick guide. I won't be doing this until Ps3s either drop down in price so I can afford it, or wait for an alternate solution to go online with it. I'm money deprived these days.

No.

Dissidia has adhoc only.
That means you can only play with someone in the same room.

But the "adhoc party" program on the PS3 allows you to use any PSP game that normally you'd only be able to play with someone in the same room and connect it online so you can play with everyone online.

I'll make the guide a lot better, but I'm a little drunk right now!

Oh god I hope the US version includes Wifi or SE releases a patch for it. It boggles my mind how such a high profile game for portable doesn't have wifi.

Can't this Adhoc Party be hacked to run in PC plataform?
would be awesome

There's already a program that does this called Xlink Kai Evolution 7. I'll do a guide later on how to connect various games through this to allow online battling. This will be useful for the Monster Hunter games, Phantasy Star Portable, and Dissidia.

Yeah. We play Monster Hunter Freedom 2 using the Adhoc Party program on the PS3.

It's really fun.

Also, Street Fighter Alpha 3!
