Okay, I'll be playing story mode and after a i beat a chapter/part it will go to a white screen and then shut down. This happens every time I play story mode. Could someone please tell me how to fix this problem?

Have any plugins installed? Or are you using a UMD?

The Power Manager plugin for example L+[] will shut down the psp completely.

This happened to me once. Every time I defeated Chaos in FF2 story, the same happened in an Unmodded PSP with 6.00 OFW.
I you saved before the battle with chaos (that was my case) then you'll need to restart the entire chapter or history.

I have the XMB custom theme plug in and PSN enabler plugin enabled. I've disabled them then try play the game but it still goes to a white screen for a few seconds then shuts down; whether they were on or off. And I'm playing it from an ISO

Did you figure out how to fix the problem??

As i said in my post, I restarted the entire FF2 chapter (the one with firion). Also, I think this is not related to ISO, as I played with the original UMD.

I'll try starting a new game but I don't really want to loose my save file. And I've tried a different ISO and it still keeps happening. I think it may be the CFW 5.50 Gen D3 because I didn't have any problems using it on the CFW before it.

It doesn't come from D3, I beat the game with this firmware ...

Well, then I don't know what the problem is. Now it's happening everytime I play the game for more then a few min. I've tried a different ISO and that didn't help unless there is a certain ISO I need to be looking for.

So just play the FF2 chapter and it should be fixed?

Just change the firmware and try again...far better to rule that out for yourself too. (try 5.00M33-6)

Before getting the UMD I played using the ISO in m33-6 and went withouth problems. Is really strange this happened to me with a fully updated (at that moment) 6.10 Piano black PSP with original FW and original UMD.
