What type of disk would burn better with ps2 and ps1?

For ps2 id look at opl/hd loading and freemc first but i dont think that supports ps1, been a while though.

Well i'm using esr v.0.9.3 and i burn with philips DVD-R disk.

For ps2, you should use DVD-r's. The DVD+r and DVD-rw cause errors. I would use verbatim brand. As for psx, I'm sure you can use any cd-r.

ok thanks but what type of burn speed becasue i am using a ps2 30001 and when i tried a philips DVD-r burned at 8x speed esr gives me an error.
and also i can use any type of vertibram?

I used to burn at 4x, but I don't think many drives now suppport that. I've never used esr, so I'm not sure what compatibility it has. You could have a bad rip, though. I know there are many types of verbatims, but I used ones that had no labels.

link to them or website? what type of program you use to play rip games onto your ps2 then?

I would use something like these. That was years ago. I never used a program to load the backups, my ps2 has a modchip and I used that until hdloader came out. Now, I use openps2loader now to load my ps2 backups from my hdd and I'm trying to figure out popstarter for loading psone games.

oh wow thanks for the help and popstarter is kinda confusing for loading ps1 games i never figured out, so hopefully i'll get a psone with a port in the back so that way i can flash the cheat carts and play backups from there.

Lol, yes. I've watched that same video many times. He talks pretty fast, but I had trouble getting all the files. I'll have to revisit this situation next weekend.

what type of fat ps2 you have 30001 or 50001, because i heard the 30001 has bad laser problems.
