I just used up 3 DVDs due to bad burns. The freaking game is so picky when it comes to Disc Read Errors. I even had to turn off the freaking screensaver during the burning process.

Anyways, I'm about 1 hour into the game. I love it, controls take a bit getting used to. But...I'm finding it a bit too easy (especially after playing Echoes). Should I have played Veteran mode?

Personally though, I think Gamespot was being perfectly fair in giving this game an 8.5 . I'm still gonna play it through to the end, its fucking METROID!~!!!!

I haven'tm played Prime 1 or 2. But I would recommend playing Veteran, I am. and it's still very easy.

Personally, I always play games on the hardest level available (Unless it starts off with ultra-mega-extreme) and if it's too hard then change. I find it's generally more enjoyable.
