I thought installing cia files to sysnand would be a bad thing? Well, of course you wouldn't advice something unsafe. But that was always my understanding. Just wanna be careful.
Also, sorry again, I can't see everything in the post from the device I'm using.

There are some CIA which only work when installed on sysnand which is another reason A9LH is safer.

- Make sure you install BOTH cias. In step 2, the cia needs to be installed on SysNand.
- What homebrews were you running?
- Go to https://github.com/ahezard/nds-bootstrap to check for compatibility.
- If all else fails, download the nds-bootstrap there and replace the ones in your _nds folder

3. Install "TWLoader.cia".

It does. You can install TWLoader.cia (Step 3 ) to EmuNand.
Step 2 needs to be in SysNand. Launch FBI in SysNand and install the required cia there.

What homebrews were you running? NTR/TWL Settings? Have you checked compatibility yet? Not all homebrew will run.

1 - Not ROM but ds homebrews. In the "nds" folder, at the root of the sd card.
2 - Don't know

Will this work with the DS Flashcart I have? I don't remember which one, but on my DS Lite, it boots directly on DS boot and my 3DS can't read the cart normally.

Yeah, you can use the slot-1 launcher from TWLauncher, it might work, if not, turn on RESETSLOT from settings.

Make sure TWLapp.cia is installed to SysNAND, or else you'll get the error message.

If you're trying to run a retail ROM, they won't work.

No, since they run from NAND, not SD.
