I don't have the latest version of TWL, how do I update it?

What do you mean by "TWL"?
a) TWLoader, if you have scanned the QR in OP, you have latest version (5.0.1), if not, go to settings and press START. If it crash, install the cias that are on the _nds folder (read OP if you get lost)
b) TWL_FIRM, if you have a shutdown error screen, read FAQ to reinstall a new TWL_FIRM partition

Yes sorry the TWLoader, I installed it prior to the current release. How do you check which version is installed?

Go to the settings screen.

In TWLoader's settings, you will see bootstrap version (left side) and TWLoader version (right side)

Well thanks I'll have a look later, to update do I have to uninstall or anything?
Will d/l and place the required folder/files in my SD later.

You don't need to uninstall it. It will replace the previous version

Redownload TWLoader.7z, and extract the files/folders in "sdroot" to your SD card root.

all i got is this on launch,i got bootstrap and tried to put it in 3 different location,_nds folder,roms/nds and root of sdcard,none worked,what do i do to fix this?

Then moving bootstrap won't fix the issue.

i reinstalled Twloader ZIP,and both the QR codes but the outcome was the same sadly

SD card isnt locked,should i have gotten a setting.ini file through start up or download?
