Hacking Disable WiiU firmware Update

Got a question for you guys.

How do you disable the WiiU from updating firmware automatically?

I don't want a risk a brick in the future because it auto-updates and messes up the vWii or something.

Thoughts?

The obvious solution: disable wifi.

I've got to say I SERIOUSLY doubt nintendo is going to bother doing anything vwii related. That part was hacked on day one and all the updates have barely (or not at all) touched on it. It would be strange that future updates not only DO touch it but go as far as identify the cIOS and totally brick it if one is found. In short...I wouldn't worry.
