Hacking dipstar

I would like to convert codes i make in pokesav or just get from codejunkies to a dipstar format but I have a few questions.
1: can i only convert the single line codes beginning in 0 1 or 2 or multiple lined codes beginning in letters and other numbers?
2: how do I use txt2dip.exe?
3: what is the save that comes with dipstar for?
