I want everyone to know that in fact i didnt release anything to the public, well not 100% true, I did share with a friend here and I told him not to make this public, I shared with him because he kept on bugging me to share after he had a play on the games at my house.

I did share with him and I feel sorry for what happened and I can see why everyone is mad at me.

So it got leaked, then was taken back down? If that's the case the damage shouldn't be large enough to make a fuss over, enough of us are still waiting for it to come out excluding the small few who might've gotten ahold of the leaked version. If the problem's been resolved I don't see a reason for the original to never see the light of day, things like this happen when something is being highly anticipated, just look at nearly every Sonic game.

that makes more sense, you never struck me as the guy who would do this intentionally (buying the DML source for ~$600, opening the source, not asking anything in return) however you did still give it to a friend, which is a leak. :/

G0d didn't leak anything. Creadiar and other's are assuming it was him. I got it from a anon source(New user) with a different IP than G0d. Everyone's just assuming it was him. I was/am under the impression that it was someone that modified the official DML source.

I have; however, got the links from the file host deleted, got the youtube vids removed, deleted the threads on my site as well as confirmed with the 14 people that downloaded it that it's not to be shared with anyone.
This is out of respect to Crediar, and those working on DM/DML

Shit happens .....If what he says is true , and I have no reason to doubt that ..... who the hell cares ..... If it gets released thats good , if it doesn't oh well.....If you want to run games from a HDD so bad how about you get into the action and make your own version of it.

Those who have eagerly waited for a USB loader for GC games for years and are frustrated at almost having obtained one just for someone to screw up and prevent it from happening?

If it gets released thats good , if it doesn't oh well.....If you want to run games from a HDD so bad how about you get into the action and make your own version of it.

Yeah, maybe I'll just learn how to program Wii homebrew and code the app that NO ONE other than Crediar and tueidj was able to make.

It is a great shame to hear this.
You shouldn't have leaked anything or gave it to your friend. (However you want to call it.)
I just hope you will learn for the future not to leak or privately share anything when it is expected to only remain in your possession.
If you want to have your friends test it out on your Wii or show it to them, that's fine.
But you clearly made a mistake that you knew was wrong.
Your friend is a dick by the way.

Is Crediar a member on the GBA Temp forums? If he is, we should collaborate or do something to help Crediar. I'm glad that people are no longer able to download it, but the damage has been done. Donations, consoling messages, anything to keep his project alive.
