That's what I always do.Is there a way to stop it from checking if theres a disc in the drive everytime you launch a game? Or is it best just to leave a disc in at all times?

Yeah, I think leaving a disk in is slightly more compatible anyway but if you're talking about the noise the drive makes every time you run DM(L) I kinda think that's just because it has to run the BC and Boot2 before it actually gets to the MIOS where DM(L) is (kinda like you hear the same noise when you turn on the Wii in which case it's going through Boot1 and Boot2) and that the drive is just getting reset or something and the actual check if there's a disk or not doesn't really make any noise. Is there a way to stop it from checking if there's a disc in the drive everytime you launch a game? Or is it best just to leave a disc in at all times?

DIOS MIOS have limitations.

It's an audio streaming game. Sound meant to be played through audio streaming can't yet be played with DM(L).Can someone explain why some gamecube games don't have sound? (Like Mario SuperStar baseball)

Ah, ok. Thanks for clearing that up.It's an audio streaming game. Sound meant to be played through audio streaming can't yet be played with DM(L).
yes sometimes it also switched the console off, thats true. Its nice have this reset Combo but the Reset Button on the Console has a meaning and should work properly.
If it bothers you so much, why don't you do something about it and fix the problem?
