Whether you launch it via the System Menu or Dios Mios (Lite), it never displays on a majority of HDTVs properly. Capcom really screwed up big time.
Right, so it has nothing to do with DIOS MIOS and shouldn't be on the compatibility list - the game is being executed exactly the same as a retail copy launched from the system menu.
CRTs don't have that issue as all can display native 240p/240i, but Capcom butchered the port by writing the emulators in 240p resolution (at least I think they're emulated), and very few HDTVs display the game without pricey third-part upscaling devices, which is trivial to get just for one problematic game. Too bad there's no way to force the game to display in 480i/480p. Congrats Capcom, for making a crappy port.
This is idiotic. HDTVs weren't common when the port was made, if they had used 480i mode they would have had a bunch of angry fans saying the opposite - that they had screwed up because it didn't use the original video mode. Saying they screwed up because it's not compatible with today's technology is like saying Nintendo screwed up because the NES and SNES used 240p. Stop blaming other people for your TV's crappy component compatibility.

Whatever. To hell with that. What did you expect me to buy on a college budget, a high-end TV?
Erhm, buy the cheapest samsung lcd tv, it'll work fine like mine.
Where do you get that this is a option in high end tv's? It's not.
It's documented well into 2007 that vizio has a problem with their scalers.
You just picked the brand ( usa only, clown components etc..) that cannot interpolate 240i to 240p.
Does your tv have an option to manage any interlacing process?
If you stuck with a philips, samsung etc you would likely not have this problem.

But I didn't know that, now did I? If I can sell my TV to someone for $200 (which I think is more than reasonable), then I'll go with Samsung. Philips....not so much, they can be hit or miss. I should be glad I didn't go with Westinghouse, Sansui or some other brand. While Vizio is a budget brand, it's not super terrible, I just had bad luck. There aren't any major retailers that buy used electronics are there? If I can get a TV that supports 240p, I can play the game at last!

Now im one step closer , i changed the path to usb1 in usb loader GX

but when i load a game it reads on my hdd then it gets me back to Homebrew....

I have installed using wad managed 1.7 Dios mios 2.2 lite

thats your problem, sebastien = you are using DM lite, which only loads from SD!
You need to install Dios Mios 2.2 not the lite version...
And @ randomizer, I use a Westinghouse 32" LCD TV 1080p and it displays all games I throw at it, even the one your having
problems with.
I understand your frustration, but really, who knew any of this before its time?

I just tried same result can you link me to the good version??

I cant dowload more on the official site since i downloaded lite already

actually ddetkowki ever since credira moved the download links to "uploaded" now they have a limit, you will have to wait like an hour between one download and the other which kinda sucks!

That's why VPNs and proxy servers are wonderful.

Those downloads aren't hosted on google code, crediar modified the project downloads tab to use http://crediar.no-ip.com/down.xml and hid all the download links using URL shorteners.

He'd better not bail on the project; he still hasn't implemented the alleged audio streaming.
hope so!

bm1234 Just re-tried..... when i click a game it doesn't make a sound or it doesn't pop mios dios nothing like so...
it's pretty weird it's like if the program isn't installed or re-directed to work on GX ....

let's figure this out im sure it's a stupid thing ;)

Usb loader gx 1202 current ,
settings make sure it is setup for USB not SD ,
what game are you trying to launch ,check here and make sure it is a known working game.
http://crediar.no-ip.com/gc/, or http://wiki.gbatemp....patibility_List
disable NMM it breaks a few games, some games require you to have a disc inserted doesn't matter what it is game or whatever .

settings per game i leave on default for DM 2.2+ usb loader should auto detect this but you can make sure in your setting

Few more things to check for your hdd,
is your Fat32 primary and set to active and 32kb clusters?

F-zero now shows black screen when i click it.... it doesn't get recognized....

Eternal darkness seems to pop up... when i click star it says the game is on USB do you want to copy to SD
