Hacking DIOS MIOS (Lite)

I'm not sure what my problem is, but I can not install Dios Mios wads above 2.2.0. Any other wads (such as update 2.2.1+) always fetch me an error -1022. I've tried from usb and sd but no such luck. Anybody have any ideas?

Change the cios your using to install the wads to something else.

Does it matter which one I choose? I'm trying a few but they all result in the same error thus far.

So it's just not me that is having a problem with USBLoader Gx Rev1198 shutting down on me or giving me a black screen.

If you're using Multi-Mod Manager, change your IOS to 236. As that allows you to install wads.

My suggestion would be update/install the official MIOS and then install DM. If that doesn't work, remove the installed MIOS and then do the above instructions.

r1198 is not released, but NoDisc+ is available in r1197 (it's using the same setting "No Disc", in v1 it's noDisc, in v2 it's noDisc+).

I changed the way the video mode are handled, there's now no more invisible 50/60hz selection screen on PAL Wii/games. (it used NTSC mode by default).
I added the three video modes like in DMbooter too (auto/force/none). "None" fixes Mario Golf.
I'll release it after more tests. you can come to irc if you want to test it.

I did, both in YAWMM and MMM. Neither work.

Thank you for the help and efforts, but I think I'll just stick with 2.2.0 for now and wait until 2.3+ is out. It's just a bit weird to me since I can install older DM versions.

I've read of some issues were fixed by re-installing clean BC and orig MIOS, then installing DM, after things somehow got corrupted.
Not sure if it's true or not, but can't hurt to try.
BTW, I always use WadManager 1.7 - it works well for me.

I had a problem with a forwarder channel wad before. I kept getting an error when I tried to install it. Eventually I solved the problem by uninstalling it first.

Did Dios Mios Booter v30 disable Dios Mios Lite v1.5?
Is is only compatible with 2.2+?

It hangs on app loader.

It should, BC and MIOS are still there like a normal Wii... but there would be no way to play unless new GC controller jacks were soldered in place.

What browser you use?
If you use crhome try download again dios mios 2.2 with Internet explorer or try clean cache of crome. I have this issue too, and that works for me.

I have indeed tried it multiple times, still no luck. I'll just wait for DM 2.3, and if that won't work then I'll suffer.

^Although I haven't tried the cache yet, I'm gonna try that first. Thank you.
