My solution : try again few times. after 2 or 3 retries it finally boot.

The problem I was actually having was Showmiiwads wasn't extracting the .app file from dios mios into the proper place, so I had to go in and manually update it.
Now DM 2.2 is booting on neek2o for me.

You didnt use the DM neek version on the diosmios google code page?
And why not?

I prefer neek2o.

You miss understood, taking DM out of the wad file and manually copying it to the emunand won't work because regular DM and DM for s/uneek are different.
Or maybe i miss understood and you did use the DM version for s/uneek?

But if you used the DM wad, i wonder how you got it to work with s/uneek, see also SanGor's comment below.

installing the .wad to a SNEEK/UNEEK NAND will NOT work!

Trying to load Luigi's Mansion JP off a 4GB usb Verbatim with Dios Mios 2.2. Either I get a black screen or I get a Apploader size zero. USB was formatted Fat32 32clusters

The same problem I was facing with Phantasy Star Online earlier.

After reading SanGor's earlier post about PSO v1.00 not working with the patch that was added to DIOS MIOS, I decided to try v1.01. I can confirm that it is now working.

maybe a stupid question:

I got a Wii that has a broken dvd, so basicly, all games that need a disc to work well (Like Star Wars Rogue Squadron II (PAL)) i will not be able to play?
(Got my Wii already setup and tested it with Mario Kart Double Dash GC PAL)

To be able to play those, i will need to replace the dvd reader in my Wii?
(Any suggestions where to get one cheap and what type to get in Europe (BeNeLux)) My Wii is of the generation that can put bootmii on nand.)
(And to rip all my original GC games i also need a working DVD Drive )

Works no problem for me. (DM v2.2 update 3+GX r1197 or CFG mod r37 beta8)

With the latest DM Skies of Arcadia (USA) freezes when entering a shop. The game is in gcreex format and works fine with DML.

Update - Works fine once I switched to discex format. Looks like several games don't like gcreex including paper mario (freezes when pressing start).

1197 doesn't have noDisc+, it wasn't released yet.
NoDisc and NoDisc+ was always enabled in DM, until it was added in 2.2 update2. So, yes it's disabled by default if you updated DM but not GX.

in 1198, The NoDisc setting IS the noDisc+
NoDisc is always enabled in DM
NoDisc+ is controlled by the user

I still haven't updated (r1199) to display both settings to prevent confusion. I will set NoDisc+ as Enabled by default.

I don't know if there are games which Required it as Enabled.
maybe keeping it disabled by default is fine for most games. We need more time to get reports compatibility for that setting.

Forgive me for asking, been away for a while, Ramadan and all, anyway what's the difference betwenn NoDisk and NoDisk+? Also where do I get r1198 or is r199 already out?

Anyone got Mario Golf working PAL? I'm sure it used to work.

I've got the same a issue with the same game (NTSC) freeze's on the DIOS MIOS splash screen.

I had the same issue with this game and Batman Dark Tomorrow on USB Loader GX, just make a non-compressed iso of the game and it should run fine, it'll be almost the same size anyway as Mario Golf is already over 1.2 GB!

Some that has pso working on gx mind posting their settings? I can't get it to work.

There are more than one version of PSO 1&2 as the hack is very specific it will only work with these versions http://redump.org/disc/1483/ EUR and http://redump.org/disc/6426/ USA.

It should be OFF by default since so far we know three games for certain that break and only one game (Pokemon Channel) which requires it to work.

Wait how do I use these? Or should I get a patched iso instead?

I can confirm with version 1.01 of PSO that it works. However, if you choose "yes" on the calendar prompt, it will black screen. As long as you say no the game will load. The date was fine for me so no need to hit yes again.
