ROM Hack Dimming the lower Screen

Im playing Zelda MM and i find lover screen to be somewhat distracting. Its not that bad but i usually lover the brightness and lower screen gets les bright, but so does the upper.

now if there is some way to make lowerscreen dimmer, like in animation when you chnage the mask that would be great!
and get back to normal once you touch it and gets dimmer after set amount of time gradually.

Is there such a homebrew or something similar or game patch or (or luma implementation idk what im talking about)?
