Theres a lot of script left to be translated from what I saw when i was changing names
I seriously doubt a christmas release unless everyone involved shunned their Lives and sat infront of their screens non-stop barely sleeping, working on it intensly.
I sure rastsan and co have lives so that wont happen :lol:

I can assure you that wouldn't be enough either :lol:
I did that with my first translation and because of no sleep(only getting two hours of sleep a day to translate), made tooooooooooooooons of errors and couldn't even translate properly. Lack of sleep can make things slow down more D:
So I hope the team gets enough rest to translate properly :)

well let the translators who do that in their free time for free for us their time doing what they are doing.

I am waiting for this as well, love the Digimon games and what i read till now sounds good like what they are doing here ^^

so yeah don't stress anyone out "demanding" something :)

it helps to stay optimistic
and a beta could be possible
 
yeah the 3000 lines part will kinda get in the way of that (thats just the one file). I am not done the graphics yet and won't be until I get a translation for those last remaining graphics. Even then I will still have to wait for the text so I can put the right names on the credits. So christmas unlikely....

first off let me say you guy's are doing a great job on this and many people will be very happy when its done.

iv got a question and sorry if this sounds like a total noob thing to say but would google translate help at all?? its ben onb my mind now for awhile.

agen sorry if i sound like a total noob,keep up the great work cant wait to play it.

NO. Please do not try to help if you are just going to use google translate. Whats left is little too much for it. If it was that simple we would have by now and we wouldn't need you to. Since we didn't that should tell you NOT TO. Although thanks for the interest in helping.

hope you all dont mind i logged in just 2 root for you guys. keep up the amazing good work and i hope you get done soon. i wish there was something i could do 2 help but i dont think there isnt. i dont know any korean and the only thing i have is a ds with an r4 card. sorry guys

The reason why I made an account is also because I would like to thank you all for working hard on this game as well. I would also like to help, but I dont understand japanese at all... but if there is anything I could do, please let me know, cause like a lot others, I really want to play the finished translation as well.
Hope I can be of some help to you guys (since its winter break).
 
I was catching up on reading this thread, and skipped a lot, but I have this to say. Please, please, PLEASE do not use the dub names instead of original names. The original names are often stupid, and I'm hoping for an actual, accurate translation and not the bullshit they dump on us all the time. Also, please bother to look up what the actual representative names of Digimon are. Teriamon is Terriermon, Mashmon is Mushmon (the short A is the same as the short U in katakana). I have made an intensive study of Digimon in its original form and would be happy to help if I'm at all needed.

If you don't want my help, I would suggest going to www.wikimon.net. It has the official names of the Digimon and the etymology for the names.
 
if i remember correct they wrote somewhere on these many many pages that they will not use the original names because most ppl only know the dub names ...
well for me it wouldn't make much difference, the english names are different from the German ones anyways -.-V

just let them do as they think would be right.
for me all that matteres is that i understand the story and that its playable ^^


P.S. think it would be best if the actual translators could make a new thread for this with some infos on the first page instead of a first comment from some guy asking for a translation / a translation tool
 
Oh, I suppose it's alright to use the wrong names as long as they don't take liberties with the story like a normal dub would - still, I'd prefer that the translation be completely accurate. I mean, would we rename it Digimon World DS: Lost Digivolution?
 
I'm supporting you guys,you guys seem to be doing a fine job if you need a beta tester I'd be more than happy to except? :ha: :lol: :D :D :D :D

I already did all of that
I know what the names are
Actually Mashmon is Mushroomon
When you skipped, u skipped the part where me and mirby fixed all the Terriermons and Mushroomons and every other name up to where the translation is.
I believe page 31 and 32
