So by now, I'm sure that most of you know that you can check the properties of a ROM. Then, you can press Y to see the details of the ROM. There is an option that let's you adjust the save type, and the choices seem to scroll between various memory amounts. Is there any significance to these choices? Will choosing different sizes perhaps fix some save issues?

Almost all games released before AKAIO 1.6RC2 shouldn't need this changing. In the __aio directory there's a file called savelist.bin which contains a list of what size save to use for each game. You may only need to adjust it for games released after AKAIO 1.6RC2, and normally you increase it upwards.

Savelist.bin gets updated with every release. It is possible to update it over WiFi, but the savelist.bin hosted on normmatts website, which it downloads is from a much much older version of AKAIO.
