I'm looking to buy a PSP and put CFW on it and the usual stuff but I was wondering if I should target a PSP Slim over a Fat or is there barely a difference other than size and all Fat PSPs are hackable?

all psp are hackable except, for psp 3000, has not been hackable yet
I've done enough research to understand that some PSP 2000s aren't hackable because of their motherboard. Thanks though

the slim has a slightly better screen and some homebrew/emulators/skype make use of the extra memory - since i'm a big emulator fan, i consider it worth my while getting a slim

yes there's risks with getting an unmoddable version but just buy second hand and/or from a store with a good returns policy

i would go with the 2000 which the god of war bundle is on sale at EBgames (Canadian version of gamestop) which are all guaranteed to be modable.

oh cool I figured it out. I had to set the PVID for the ports in question. I thought simply having the correct vlan untagged on that port would do the trick. Welp.
