R4/M3Real/DSTT
(Cyclo is good but it's unreachable for me)
DSTT, well, we have to wait a little bit to see if it well support
M3Real....except for SDHC I don't see why it better than R4 (I don't play GBA anyway...) and I think R4 is more stable.
for now..
I suggest get R4 with EZ3in1.

damn.. and i just bought an R4...

Don't worry, my parent's kids both have R4's and for them it's perfect.
Just don't expect too much of the download play.
I've found that all the games that you can't use download play for on the g6ds real work on the r4 (eg. mario kart, brain training, new super mario bros, most of the "nintenfo" games" but that might just be my dodgy flash cart

just get an R4. it works and moonshell is its default multimedia player, so you don't have to put it on the card. Everything is easy to use and straightforward. If you need more than 4gb on your sd card for games you must be playing like 50 games at once while putting many CD's worth of content on it, or using your DS to watch seasons of shows. R4 is cheap and works fine. You wont miss out on anything if you get a R4 over the other cards, and you wont be disappointed.

How come no one mentions the differences in speed for bootup and loading games? I currently have both the R4 and the M3DS Real, and the R4 is significantly faster in both those categories.

Here are some crude numbers (+/- 1s):

R4:
bootup: 5s
game load: 6s
reboot: 1s
power on to game: 15s

M3DS real:
bootup: 9s
game load: 4s + 8s
reboot: 6s
power on to game: 26s

bootup is turning on the power to the nds lite till you can use the menu.
game load is the time it takes to select a game till when the starts (loaded Metroid Prime Hunters). Note, for the the M3DS real, starting a game is a two step process, select the game, then start.
reboot is the time it takes to reboot in a game, back into the menu.
power on to game is an approximation of how long it would take to bootup, select a game and start.

I guess I'm just impatient, as it's only around a 11 second difference in time, but it just bugs me

Thanks for the info, it will come in handy if I find I need to buy a new flash cart (which I think might eb soon).
However my g6real seems to be ok at the moment.

How does Cyclo compare to r4 and m3real?
