Gaming Didnt know where to put this

Yep. I screwed up. Tried putting my sd card back in my wii while talking to a freind. I wasnt looking and put the sd card in the disk slot and it took it lol.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Any suggestions/ideas before i buy a triwing screwdriver?

yeah I tried that first. i spread the little black thing (guessing its a dust guard) with some tweezers so I could see, cant see it. its in there pretty good lol.

Anyone know a good guide for taking the drive apart?

Lol, did the same with my new iMac.

Turn your wii with the drive facing the floor. Use a credit card to open the flaps. Shake the Wii about. The SD Card should come out.

problem is its actually IN the drive. I cant even hear it shaking about in there when i try.

You could try to cut a piece of thin plastic to a U-form insert it in the disc slot and try to get it out that way.

the best way is to open it. you might damage internal parts by shaking it or forcing some objects inside your wii.

My 4 year old son has done this twice!!!!!!

- 1st time I was able to shake it out.
- 2nd time it had to be opened up.

Because it sounds like yours isn't moving - only option is open the lid.
