Did you ever had to replace your DS?

I had to replace my DS Phat for a DS Lite, but that's it.

No. I had mine since last year May, and it's still in perfect condition. I do have some scratches on the touchscreen, but I got a screen protector now, so it's fine.

man.. I had to TWICE.

I bought a DS and an R4 from this guy online. I didn't know any better back then. but now I know, the R4 was fake.

anyways, I played with the DS for a week, and then bam. It just turned off and wouldn't turn on again.

I had to replace it at nintendo (thank goodness it still had it's warranty)

then, 2 DAYS after i got it replaced, it turned off again and wouldn't turn on.

I then had to go replace it AGAIN

At this point I was thinking it was the R4's fault. So I got a cycloDS and never had the problem ever again.


although, to this day I still don't know what made my DS break... Many people told me it couldn't have been the R4..

I did once. My old DS had many problems. When I carried it to a repairing service, they bring me my DS with the DS Card lector BROKEN. The same day I bought a new one, Fat too

Finally could get a DS lite to replace phat. Then I replaced the lie within a month cuz it was breaking.

Twice, but in actuality, three times. First time was dead pixel. Second time was broken hinge. Hinge broke on my third one, but I just got the case changed so I didn't really replace the whole DS. But the touch screen is a little off and it has a dead pixel, so I'm thinking of selling it and getting this one

Twice, first to replace my 2 year old phat with a lite, then again to replace my 2 year old lite.

Haven't replaced any DS yet, but maybe in the future when a new model or new color comes out. Also depending if my current one begins to wear out.
