The idea about DS Gamecube Connectivity is great !!!
I would love to play Zelda Four Swords with the great (3)DS(i) Displays.
 
I speculate that tueidj won't care that DIOS MIOS was released, and is going to keep doing it at the pace he's doing it because he can lol.

I highly doubt it, it obvious that DIOS MIIOS and Devolution are two completely different developments

My reasoning is as follows: Motivation tends to be increased where there are egos involved and there is another similar product in the marketplace.

You know, if this thread were to get locked, another thread would pop up in a matter of hours.

Tueidj is not like that. He will release it when ready and not a moment sooner. He would not bother rushing it. Keep in mind, he really is only doing this for himself, everyone else is just lucky to have the privilege of eventually getting to use it. Waninkoko is one to rush to release things for popularity and because of the rush he has also bricked many consoles, wii and ps3. Tuiedj would never do anything like that.

will devolution require sneek or will it run on its own.
sorry if this has already been answered somewhere in this mess of a thread but i am not reading 46 pages of garbage.
 
Last night I got to thinking about the possibilities which arise if running Gamecube games with 1.5 x the CPU and GPU power. This got me wondering if it might be possible to take advantage of that 50% extra GPU performance, perhaps by applying anti aliasing in games which don't use any, assuming that there's enough extra overhead to do so without negatively affecting performance. Part of what I was thinking about is how 640x480 can look pretty darn good with high quality textures and AA.
 
All the extra speed in the world won't help AA if the framebuffer memory isn't available to do it (a lesson which nintendo hasn't seemed to have learnt in nearly 10 years...)
 
lol, yeah, maybe with the new console they do, finally the Wii U gets more internal memory, maybe even up to 2GB.

Looks like both GC and Wii have only 2 MB. So, it looks like Hollywood doesn't really have much of an advantage over Flipper other than increased clock rate.

That's regular memory, not framebuffer memory. 32MB is not enough to do anti-aliasing over 1920x1080.
Oops misread..it makes me curious though what the Wii U has when the final version comes out...
