Okay, I'm fuzzy on the naming convention for disc 2 of multi-disc games.

Am I supposed to name (for example) disc 2 of LOTR: The Third Age:

/games/Lord of the Rings - The Third Age [G3AE69]/gam1.iso
OR
/games/Lord of the Rings - The Third Age [G3AE692]/game.iso

Also, does this naming convention change if I'm loading games in Devo through USB Loader GX?

First off, if you're going through the sample loader, then you're actually doing it wrong. Just put your ISO into the "games" folder and nothing else. In this case it also doesn't matter what you name the ISO, nor does it matter what you name the 2nd disc.

Secondly, if you're using a 3rd party USB loader, then you pretty much just follow the same method that is used with DIOS MIOS and the like using individual folders for each game, and inside said folder(s) the first disc is always called "game.iso" while the second disc (if any) is always called "disc2.iso".

if you're using a 3rd party USB loader, [...] the second disc (if any) is always called "disc2.iso".

Okay, it's just different information from different sources/posts can be confusing.

I do have a WiiU and I don't see an official method of inserting GC memory cards :) I also have a Wii, but that's the "family edition" so no-go there either. But even if I had, it'd be preferable for the emulator to use modern media, so the SD card or external USB drive (please stay the hell out of my NAND).
That was just me having a senior moment.
Or hoping for some official adapter (given that the only official Wii software that supports GCN cards is Radiant Dawn, however...)

Devolution launcher :

games/whatever you want for disc1.iso
games/whatever you want for disc2.iso
etc.

USBLoaderGX :
games/whatever you want for game name/game.iso
games/whatever you want for game name/disc2.iso

Wiiflow :
games/whatever you want for game name/game.iso
games/whatever you want for game name/disc2.iso or gam1.iso
It also support /games/Whatever you want.iso with a plugin.

the [GameID] and [GameID + 2] format is old and not supported anymore. It was used by DiscEx to output ISO in different folders when disc swapping wasn't used yet, but loaders started to use "same folder with different filename" instead of "different folders with same filename" to allow disc swapping. Like you quoted/screenshoted above, I was working on adding this format but dropped it when DM/DML started to use game/disc2 filename.

who have try the wired xbox360 controller?

nintendon-t have a private beta for the wiimote+nunchack support... what tueidj think? devo can be played with wiimote+nun (2ndplayer or 3ndplayer)

Heck if I know. All I know is you can use a 360 controller on Linux and Windows 2000 (via XBCD), and neither of those support Xinput.

You'd have better luck asking him yourself over on gc-forever.

Hmm, nah, that's okay, I'm sure Nintendont will support it one of these days. I uh, don't feel inclined to ask him directly about it, I'm sure you understand why...*looks around nervously* ^_^ *Ahem*

Nobody said you had to mention Nintendont, you could just mention the Xinput thing.

No, that's not the issue I was referring to, hmm, should I elaborate in a PM? Let's just say that it's a problem between me and him, something rather anomalous that I need to avoid going into further detail, especially on that site. That's all I want to say about it on here.
