What? Emulator? What are you talking about? devKitPro is a toolchain for various platforms, compiles to those platforms. Emulators are unrelated to it, as far as I know. Calling it a "modified computer language compiler" is kind of stupid...

sorry about that guess I didn't know as much as I thought. last time I used it (for a small amount of time), it let me cmpile some code and automatically ran a ds emulator I didn't thought I had to work with the code and I was surprised it did that.

It doesn't automatically run stuff itself. I suppose that was instruction stated in the makefile?
