Does anyone know, how to set the control in vicex64 so that the keyboard can be operated? Although I can call the keyboard with "Y", I can not navigate in it. Thanks!

Testing out the latest build M4WX linked on Discord. Ridge Racer Type 4 gets 80fps in game menus and around 63-67fps in game

Is there a link to this build? The current version runs RR4 at like 30-40fps in-game with threaded video on. Awesome to see the progress on this sutff :)

Is it necessary to set Threaded Video to "on" in this current build (1.7.5 by m4wx), to reach a good performance?

What about vicex64? It does not seem to be included in release 1.7.5 anymore.

PCSX-ARMED on latest 1.7.5

Tekken 3 - 49fps
Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha - 54fps
Street Fighter EX2 Plus - 58fps
Capcom vs SNK PRO - FULL SPEED

Still long way to go to achieve full speed for PS1 3D games.

on Europe , the games go on 50 fps....so its not a bad performance

Most PS1 had a frame rate lock at 30fps or even less. As far as I know there are only 3 PS1 games supporting native 60fps, everything else is only a calculated image by 2 for interlacing. (This corresponds to the standard at that time with 29.97 full frames and 59.94 half frames respectively.) I just don't know how the emulators handle it, I guess they calculate the image progressively and therefore much more images than in the original signal.

The internal Core Updater works, but for vice x64, savestates are currently not supported yet.

Yeah I noticed that, bit of a bummer when you've just waited for a tape game to load. Speaking of, is fast-forward supposed to work in this core?

I'm investigating what formats are supported that might avoid tape loading anyway.

have you tried plugging in a keyboard to the switch in docked mode?
No, I rarely use docked mode honestly.

I converted all my games, also tape games to d64 format. No problems with this format....and of course with deactivated True Drive emulation.

I only play in docking mode, but I do not want to use any additional hardware (keyboard). I like the virtual variant, as is the case with PSPVice. I would also like that for the retroarch version of Vice x64.
