You dont wanna make a new cue file. Some require extra tracks, some games require copyright protection too.

Check your bios filenames

Horizon ver?

Just went through and made sure all bios were capitalized and at .bin. Using the original cue file that came with it. As for Horizon, I'm not positive. I used this guide t3chnolog1c.github.io/SwitchGuide/ to get the hbmenu ver 2.0.0

all bios files need to be lower case and the exact same name as provided in the readme. You need different bios files for different roms and they need to be in the same folder as the ROM.

Horizon is Nintendo's operating system, whats your version.

I'll go fix them then, and i'm in 5.1.

just got it to work, found a bios file that was 5501. If i need more bios, should I rename them to follow that same sequence of 5501, 5502, 5503? etc. Can't wait until you get the audio working. Thanks for being so responsive and helping me out.

Dude I added a link to the retro arch wiki to the post where I released the PSX core, it does exactly tell you what filename the bios needs to have for which region

And if you read that post, you would've seen that I stated in BOLD that I disabled audio via code because it would crash the Game.

Open your eyes dude.

BEETLE-PSX TEST RELEASE
Notes: USE AS IS, Audio is disabled via code (else its pure luck right now if the Game starts)
You NEED a BIOS File either in your set BIOS Dir, or in the same Folder as your ROM's
Where you get the BIOS, thats your concern.

Saving does work, load saves does NOT (had to remove it).

Save STATES work fine!

Why the f do I even write that if no one reads it (you're not the only one)

I did see that audio wasn't going to work, didnt see that it would crash it though, just didn't know if it would be eventually be possible. I understand your frustration though, my bad.

Thanks again for your help.

It's no problem. It would be fine for me if its just a few people, but that seems to happen regularly.

lol I had my wife play crash bandicoot. she loves the game soo i figured id show off the psx emulator and the whole time she played she reenacted the ingame sfx and music.

Lmfao I did the exact same thing with Crash Bandicoot Warped.

Sounds like we both had the same idea, everyone likes that game. She actually beat the FIRST LEVEL before me on the switch. Been so busy barely have time to actually play some games.

@m4xw psx is really running well visually, performance and stability is far better now then it was.

I'm sure we all know the tunes for some of these games, fill the gap and sing along lol

Lmao na that's funny tho.

So I just randomly found this:

https://www.bountysource.com/issues/43656221-create-a-libretro-port-of-moonlight-embedded

Guess I have something to work on, if I get fed up with threading for a bit :P

Was planning to port that down the road anyway, so porting it as a core would cut the amount of work needed nearly in half.

We should be able to handle 720p

More then capable of 720p

My msi laptop would be well suited for a setup like this. Nvidia HD1060, 720p to the streamed device over either 5g wifi or lte+ internet.

This could and would most likely be capable of being used outside your home kind of thing.

The possibilities are endless. Definitely something I would be willing to devote time towards.

Lmfao haha I guess we all have are terminology we use to refer to our graphics card.

It's an MSI GP62MVR

That's the laptop check out the specs.

https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GP62MVR-6RF-Leopard-Pro.html

Has great specs but probably should have held off for the 7th gen processor, would have gotten far more battery life.
