I also get the same joystick and touchscreen response when failing to load a DS rom. it eventually says failed to load, and goes back to lakka. but in the core it seems something is going right with the drivers :-p.

anyway, hope this info helps. great work with this!!

i think he trys to grab the RetroArch.Cfg once going back to the menu and stops taking it after some time

Which DS core? My understanding is that Desmume is incompatible with ARM, therefore it won't run on Switch.

I mean, its a pre-alpha dev build, i was surprised to even see it in there

really think that lakka fails to refresh the config file and it gets lost in the schuffle the reason why touch and joycon drops , after a crash it can reload the file

Here's a crazy idea. Could you reproduce exactly that and if you can make the joysticks work again, please enable advanced settings (in user interface) and tell me the list of all enabled / used drivers ? Then, go to Inputs for user 1 and take a photo of what you see. Thanks !

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also Citra was disabled by Lakka developers some time ago. They must have had a good reason to do so.

The problem is, that during that errored mode, no thing could be selected.

I am able to reproduce the same joystick and touchscreen thing when I try to load pokemon black 2 in the melonds core, the cursor appears, responds to touch and joystick, then the core closes, and is back to the lakka "desktop", at which point the cursor disappears
